This Privacy Policy explains how VisuaGen (“VisuaGen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use visuagen.io and related services (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

VisuaGen is an AI-assisted product that helps creators generate faceless short-form videos and optionally publish or schedule them to connected social platforms (including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook).

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, profile image (for example from Google sign-in), and account preferences.
• Billing information: subscription plan, payment status, and invoices processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
• Content you provide: series settings, scripts, prompts, captions, voice choices, uploaded audio, and other creative inputs.
• Generated content: videos, thumbnails, render jobs, schedules, and related metadata created through the Service.
• Social connections: when you connect a platform, we receive OAuth tokens and account identifiers needed to publish or manage posts on your behalf (for example Page or channel IDs and usernames).
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic logs.
• Communications: messages you send to support.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service (generation, rendering, scheduling, analytics).
• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Connect to third-party platforms you authorize and publish/schedule content you request.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send transactional emails (login, billing, important product notices).
• Monitor abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We use AI and infrastructure providers to generate scripts, voice, visuals, and renders. Content you submit may be processed by those providers solely to deliver the Service.

4. Social platform permissions

If you connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or similar services, we only request permissions needed for login and/or content publishing features you use. We use those tokens to act on your instructions (for example upload a Short/Reel you scheduled). You can disconnect a channel anytime in the Service; you may also revoke access in the platform’s security settings.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers (hosting, databases, email, payments, AI generation, media storage) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• Social platforms you choose to connect, to the extent required to publish or manage content.
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• A successor entity if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified where required).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication/session management and to keep the Service secure. We may also use limited analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break login.

7. Data retention

We retain account, content, and logs for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention needs).

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and encrypted storage of sensitive tokens where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password on linked accounts and revoke unused social connections.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location (for example EEA/UK/California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@visuagen.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than yours (including where our hosting or AI providers operate). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross- border transfers.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
